
Update: Two Suffer Significant Injuries in Crash That Closed Rochester Intersection
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- A crash has closed a busy northwest Rochester intersection.

The Rochester Police Department announced the closure shortly after 8:30 Saturday morning. Communications Coordinator Amanda Grayson has released preliminary information.

Crash Closes Intersection at Northwest Rochester Retail Center
Rochester police responded to the crash the intersection of 55th St. NW and Chateau Road NW around 7:50 a.m. Saturday.
The intersection serves as an entrance to a major retail complex that includes Walmart, Sam’s Club and other businesses.
The preliminary information indicates one vehicle was heading east on 55th St. NW and two vehicles collided near Chateau Rd NW.
Two people were transported from the scene by Mayo Clinic Ambulance with what police are describing as "significant injuries."
The names of the injured individuals have not been released. The intersection remained closed as of 10:25 Saturday morning.
Grayson says the crash is under investigation.
