Affordable Minnesota Grocery Store is Promising Thanksgiving Meals Under $50
Last year, many major retailers offered affordable meal baskets for family's Thanksgiving meals. This year, the announcements are starting to come in from companies and some are even better than last year's prices.
Thanksgiving is not a cheap holiday, not only because the food itself it expensive but because you're likely feeding extended family as well.

With everything being so expensive, especially food, everyone's trying to save money where they can. Thankfully, one grocery store, that can be found all around Minnesota, is offering a very affordable Thanksgiving meal option that will serve 10 people.
How Expensive is Thanksgiving?
Each year, the American Farm Bureau Federation comes out with a survey showing how much the average Thanksgiving meal costs for 10 people. As you can imagine, the cost just keeps going up, although last year's prices came down just a hair compared to 2021.
However, they also say that the cost is up 25% compared to 2019, which is crazy. That's why these Thanksgiving deals are more in demand than ever.
The numbers for 2024 haven't come out yet but I can't imagine they'll be much different than last year.
Thanksgiving Meal Deal Baskets
Each company does their own Thanksgiving baskets but they all offer something very similar: turkey, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, and green bean casserole ingredients for example.
Before we get to the under $50 meal, Walmart has already announced their Thanksgiving deal. Their price is $7 per person, so I would presume that means you can get a basket that perfectly fits the number of people you need to feed.
Aldi Offering a 10-person Thanksgiving Meal for $50
Aldi is the latest grocery store to announce their Thanksgiving meal deal. You'll be able to feed 10 people for $47! That comes out to $4.70 per person.
The meal includes "a Butterball turkey with spices, gravy, rolls, mac and cheese, stuffing as well as ingredients for cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole and pumpkin pie."
That's a lot of food!
If you want to take advantage of this deal this holiday season, you'll want to check your local Aldi to see if it's available at that location.
