The polar vortex is back. A mass a bitterly cold arctic air is forecast to dominate Minnesota's weather for the next few days. All of Minnesota and Wisconsin, along with portions of Iowa and the Dakotas are under wind chill advisories into Tuesday, while a portion of central Minnesota is under a wind chill warning. The National Weather Service says the mercury should slide into the teens below zero in the Rochester area by Tuesday morning and the wind chill readings are expected to fall to 20-35 below zero. The arctic air mass is expected to stick around through at least Thursday.
