Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- A young motorcycle operator lost his life in a crash in Rochester over the weekend.

Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office Captain Tim Parkin said deputies responded to the deadly crash around 7:30 Sunday evening.
Responding deputies found the victim and his motorcycle in a treeline off of the road, according to the sheriff's office's report.

20-Year-Old Rochester Man Dies Following Motorcycle Crash
The motorcycle fatality occurred along Bamber Valley Rd. Southwest near Bamber Valley Hills Ln. in southwestern Rochester.
Other motorcyclists who were riding with the victim told deputies they had lost sight of the rider after sped away from the group as they were traveling north, Parkin says.
Deputies then found the operator unresponsive near his crashed motorcycle. He was taken from the scene by ambulance to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to the crash report.
Parkin describes the fatal motorcycle crash victim as a 20-year-old Rochester man. His name is being withheld pending family notification.
