FFA members from Byron and Kasson-Mantorville went on a three-day trip to discover all the career opportuniti4es in agriculture...and at least a few of them will make you say, "What? Really? They can do that?:"

Our guests: Alison Newman, the Agricultural instructor and FFA Advisor from Byron and students Hannah Perotti and Zoey Mathison. the KM FFA Chapter's ag instructor and FFA advisor is Lori Pagel.

According to Alison Newman,

The trip (is) the South Central Minnesota FFA Ag tour. We are spending 3 days and 2 nights exploring all the different pathways (and career opportunities) that there are in the agriculture industry. This trip is being funded by a grant that we applied for through Compeer Financial Fund for Rural America.

The growing plants-in-the-air-part is really wild (toward the end of the podcast), but fascinating, just like experience at the Ethanol plant (they taught me how its made!), the boat manufacturer, and the hydraulics visit.
