Arrest Made in Hit & Run in Minneapolis
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Minneapolis police have charged a woman in connection with a hit-and-run crash that injured two bicyclists.
Police said Sunday that Stephanie Smith-El of Minneapolis was charged with criminal vehicular operation causing bodily harm. They say the 62-year-old was driving with a revoked license when she hit the bicyclists late Saturday.
Police say she struck two occupied vehicles before hitting 29-year-old Jason Bradley and 28-year-old Kathryn Bradley of Minneapolis. They say Smith-El was found in her car with the engine running. She was treated for minor injuries before being booked in Hennepin County Jail.
A Hennepin County Medical Center spokeswoman says Jason Bradley was in serious condition Sunday and the hospital didn't have information on Kathryn Bradley's condition.
