Biology Teacher May Have Been High On Drugs When Shot
Mankato, MN (Learfield) -- Based on information given by a friend, investigators with the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension think a 33-year-old teacher shot to death by a Mankato police officer may have been high on drugs at the time.
The friend who was partying with Chase Anthony Tuseth says he believes Tuseth took L-S-D and Ecstasy. Tuseth taught at Tokata Learning Center, an alternative high school in Shakopee.
He was fighting with veteran police officer Gary Schnorenberg, hitting and kicking the officer, when Schnorenberg pulled his service weapon and shot him to death December 31st.
