Body Found in Garbage Can Leads to Minneapolis Death Investigation
Minneapolis, MN (KROC-AM News)- Police in Minneapolis are investigating after discovering a body Sunday afternoon.
A news release says officers were dispatched to the report of a body found in a garage around 1:20 p.m. The call came from a residence in north Minneapolis.
The responding officers found the body inside of a garage can. The news release says the house where the man’s body was found is unoccupied.
It’s not known how long the body was at home. The man’s name has not been released.
His body has been sent to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy to determine his cause and manner of death.
Homicide detectives responded to the scene to begin their investigation. As of Sunday evening no arrests have been made.
