Breaking: Authorities Respond to School Bus Rollover In Fillmore County
Update: Bus Carrying 35 Students Crashes in Rural Fillmore County
Spring Valley, MN (KROC-AM News)- First responders are at the scene of a school bus rollover crash in Fillmore County.
Limited information is available so far. Dispatch reports indicate the bus rolled over in the area of Forestville and Mystery Cave, which is about eight miles south of Wykoff.
The crash was reported around 10:30 Friday morning. Initial reports indicate the passengers suffered injuries. The severity of the injuries are not yet known.
Authorities are currently working to set up a family reunification center in Wykoff, initial reports indicate. It’s not yet known how many people were involved in the rollover.
First responders were contacting surrounding school districts to get transportation to move the bus occupants out of the crash scene.
The State Patrol has also requested crash reconstruction resources. Agencies known to be responding to the crash so far are Spring Valley Ambulance and Fire, Wykoff First Responders, and Preston Ambulance.
The scene remains active as of 11:00 Friday morning.
