Byron, MN (KROC-AM News) - Voters in the Byron School District are casting ballots today on a $58-million school bond issue.

The voting will take place at Byron's Middle School until 8 PM. The voting was shifted to the middle school from Byron City Hall to allow for more space for social distancing for voters waiting to cast their votes and between the polling stations.

The Byron School District is seeking voter approval to move forward with the construction of an auditorium at the Byron High School, revamping the kitchens and cafeterias at the community's middle and intermediate schools, and adding athletic facilities at the high school. A portion of the funds would also be used to renovate the Byron District Administrative Services Center.
