
Byron Snowmobile Crash Sends Kasson Man to Hospital
Byron, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Kasson man was transported to St. Marys Hospital following a snowmobile crash along Highway 14 Friday afternoon.
The Minnesota State Patrol, along with the Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office, Byron Fire Department, and Mayo Clinic Ambulance, responded around 2:25 p.m. to the crash site on westbound Highway 14 near the 280th Avenue intersection on the west edge of Byron. The crash report indicates alcohol was involved.

The injured snowmobiler was identified as 34-year-old Philip Carl Madsen. He was transported to the hospital with what the State Patrol described as non-life-threatening injuries.
