Continued Optimism About MN’s Economy
The new Mid-America Business Conditions Survey indicates supply managers remain optimistic about Minnesota’s economy.
The respected monthly report put Minnesota’s overall economic index for October at 63.7. Any reading above 50 is considered a predictor of economic growth, and while last month’s reading was down about three percentage points from September, it remained high enough to be considered “very healthy.”
It also marked the 23rd consecutive month Minnesota’s index has been above 50.
