Council Approves Rochesterfest Relocation Costs
Rochesterfest officially has a new home.

The City Council has approved a proposal to make electrical upgrades to a section of Soldiers Field Park to accommodate the needs of the event and its vendors. The estimated cost is $135,000.
Rochesterfest has been forced to relocate from its site near the Mayo Civic Center because of the upcoming expansion project.
The Council’s approval came after it was told the upgrade may encourage other events to be held at the same site.
