St Paul (KROC AM News) - For the first time, Minnesota is reporting a one-day total of 5,000 COVID-19 tests.

The latest daily report shows Monday’s total was 5,053. It raised the overall total to nearly 121,000. 

There were nearly 700 new positive cases. Since testing began, the number of positive cases has grown to 12,500. 

There were 23 more deaths reported Monday, increasing the state’s death total to 614 with 501 involving residents of nursing homes/assisted living facilities.
