Plainview, MN (KROC-AM News) - The recent increase in COVID-19 cases in Wabasha County has prompted the organization of a community testing event next week.

The Minnesota Department of Health, Wabasha County, and the City of Plainview have teamed up to offer the free testing on Monday, August 10th, from noon until 8 PM at the Bluff County School Bus Service facility in Plainview. The tests are being offered to anyone, even those without symptoms or known contact with infected individuals.

Anyone interested in being tested during the event is encouraged to sign up for an appointment to help keep wait times short and maintain social distancing. Appointments can be scheduled by visiting www.primarybio.com/r/wabasha or www.health.state.mn.us/diseases/coronavirus/testsites/.
