St Paul  (KROC AM News) -  The Minnesota Department of Health has released its daily report on COVID-19 activity in the state and it shows there are 1800 confirmed cases, an increase of 100 from Tuesday. 

More than 900 of the patients no longer need to be isolated.

The state has recorded 8 more deaths, raising the total to 87. 

A total of 445 COVID-19 patients have been hospitalized in Minnesota to date.  Currently, 197 remain hospitalized with 93 in intensive care.

The number of tests has increased to more than 40,000.
