St Paul (KROC AM News) - Another Minnesotan has become a victim of the COVID-19 virus.

The Minnesota Department of Health Saturday released the latest figures on its testing results. The state’s death toll now stands at five.

Saturday’s number of confirmed cases was 441, an increase of 43 from Friday. Olmsted County’s total rose by three cases to 37. Total cases requiring hospitalization are 57 with 30 of those still hospitalized as of Saturday. Half (220) of the individuals who tested positive have recovered and no longer need to be isolated.

The department’s new report show there have now been over 16,000 completed tests. That puts the percentage of positive cases at just under .03-percent.
