St Paul (KROC AM News) - Minnesota’s number of positive COVID-19 cases has hit 27,000.

The latest daily report from the Minnesota Health Dept. shows 700 more cases were added to the total on Thursday. Nearly 22,000 of the patients no longer need isolation.

There were 33 more COVID-19 deaths included in the report, increasing the total to 1,148. Of the total, 922 were residents of long-term care or assisted living facilities.

The number of tests has gone over 322,000.
