The police report indicates a car was attempting a left turn across traffic when it was struck by a car heading in the opposite direction. The driver of the second vehicle could not stop in time to avoid the collision.
A total of three people were taken to a hospital. All of the injured individuals were riding in the same vehicle, Moilanen said.
