Crash at Rochester Interchange Sends Young Ohio Man to Hospital
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- A man from Ohio was taken to a hospital following a crash at a Rochester interchange on Friday.

Two vehicles were involved. The State Patrol responded to the crash shortly before 6:30 p.m.
The two-vehicle crash occurred at the Hwy. 63 and 48th St. South interchange.
Car & SUV Crash at Hwy. 63 & 48th St. in Southern Rochester, MN
A car traveling west on 48th St. and an eastbound SUV that was attempting a left turn to enter northbound Hwy. 63 collided, according to the state crash report.
20-year-old Atiba Raymon Fitz was identified as the car driver. The Cleveland man was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Nicholas John Meyers of Rochester was driving the SUV. He was not hurt.
Fitz was not buckled up and alcohol was not involved in the crash, the State Patrol says.
The Rochester Fire Department, Rochester Police Department, Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office and Mayo Clinic Ambulance also responded to the two-vehicle crash.
