
Four Injured in Crash on Rural Southeast Minnesota Highway
Northfield, MN (KROC-AM News)- Four people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash on a southeast Minnesota highway.

First responders were dispatched to the crash shortly before 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
Three vehicles were involved in the crash, the State Patrol says. All four occupants of the three vehicles were hurt.

3-Vehicle Crash Near Northfield, MN Sends Four People to Hospital
The three-vehicle crash occurred on Hwy. 246 about six miles southeast of Northfield.
A westbound SUV collided with an eastbound minivan and an eastbound pick-up truck near the highway’s intersection with Jacobs Ave., the state crash report says.
45-year-old Ramon Jimenez Ruiz of Red Wing was identified as the SUV driver, 53-year-old Daniel Nels Finne of Dodge Center was driving the pick-up truck and 81-year-old Ronald Jerome Huseth of Dennison was identified as the van driver.
All three drivers along with 81-year-old Diana Marilyn Huseth of Dennison, who was riding in the van, suffered non-life-threatening injuries, the State Patrol says.
A family member took Ruiz to a hospital while an ambulance transported the three others involved in the crash to a hospital in Northfield, according to the State Patrol.
All four people were buckled up and alcohol was not involved in the crash, the state crash report indicates.
The Rice County Sheriff’s Office and Northfield Fire and Ambulance also responded to the crash.
