Deadly Construction Mishap in Willmar

Willmar, MN (Learfield Wire Services/TTWN Media Networks) –  Willmar police confirm the death of a 60-year-old Missouri man at a construction site Friday afternoon.

Police officers and the Willmar ambulance were dispatched to the location at the Kandi Mall Friday at about 12:45 p-m. Witnesses say several building trusses fell on the victim, who was from Carthage, Missouri. His co-workers used heavy equipment to get him free and he was transported to Rice Memorial Hospital.

Police haven't released the man's identity yet.
