Deer Hunter Found Shot in the Head in Northwestern Minnesota
Moorhead, MN (KROC-AM News) - Authorities in northwestern Minnesota are reporting that a man was seriously wounded while participating in the 2024 Minnesota firearms deer hunting season opener on Saturday.
The Clay County Sheriff's Office says deputies were called to a rural property near Moorhead around 8 AM Saturday and found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to his head. The wounded hunter, a 34-year-old man from Dilworth, was airlifted to a Fargo hospital for treatment.
His name and information about his medical condition have not been released.
