Search Warrant Leads to Large Drug Bust and Arrest at Rochester Home
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that a man is in custody following a large drug bust at a Rochester home last week.

Captain Tim Parkin said Monday morning that the bust was part of a follow up to a narcotics investigation.
Law enforcement found and seized the suspected drugs after executing a search warrant around 9:00 on Friday morning, according to Parkin.
Deputies Seize Large Amount of Suspected Cocaine from Rochester Home
Parkin said investigators served the warrant at a home in the 800 block of Diamond Ridge Ln. Northwest.
The search led to the discovery of approximately 40 grams of suspected crack cocaine and cocaine powder, according to the sheriff’s office’s report.
Parkin said one person, identified as 25-year-old Abdikadar Ali, was arrested following the search and drug seizure.
The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office is recommending the Rochester man be charged with first-degree drug sales, fifth-degree drug sales, second-degree drug possession and fifth-degree drug possession.
Olmsted County Adult Detention Center records indicate Ali was booked into the jail shortly before 10:40 Friday morning. He is awaiting his first appearance in Olmsted County Court.
