
Search Continues Tuesday for Missing 22-Year-Old Man in Crisis in Winona County
Update: Missing 22-Year-Old Man in Winona County Maybe Avoiding Being Found, Sheriff's Office Says
Houston, MN (KROC-AM News)-The search is set to resume Tuesday for a missing man in Winona County.

He is believed to be in crisis, according to the Winona County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities announced that 22-year-old Elijah Michael McCumber was missing on Sunday. He was last seen shortly before 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

McCumber was last seen on Echo Valley Dr., which is a dead-end road in southeastern Winona County.
McCumber was last wearing a black t-shirt, black baseball hat, gray sweatpants and was carrying a black backpack.
His family says his facial hair is longer than what is seen in pictures shared by law enforcement.
K-9's Used in Search Monday, No Public Search Planned
The Winona County Sheriff’s Office says four specialized K-9 teams searched the area where his vehicle was found on Monday.
First responders are set to continue the search on Tuesday.
Authorities are not, at the moment, asking for public assistance with the search due to the terrain and other unknown factors. A public search will be announced if one is planned.
Landowners are being asked to check outbuildings, hunting blinds, and other structures on their property.
Anyone who has had contact with McCumber in the last two days, or anyone with information that may assist in locating him, is asked to contact the Winona County Sheriff’s Office at 507-457-6368.
Correction: A previous version of this story said McCumber was last seen Friday and reported missing on Saturday
