The Winona County Sheriff’s Office says four specialized K-9 teams searched the area where his vehicle was found on Monday.

First responders are set to continue the search on Tuesday.

Authorities are not, at the moment, asking for public assistance with the search due to the terrain and other unknown factors. A public search will be announced if one is planned.

Landowners are being asked to check outbuildings, hunting blinds, and other structures on their property.

Anyone who has had contact with McCumber in the last two days, or anyone with information that may assist in locating him, is asked to contact the Winona County Sheriff’s Office at 507-457-6368.
