Update: Rochester Police ID Suspects in Rooster's Parking Lot Shooting

Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- Two people were wounded in a shooting that occurred at a Rochester bar and restaurant Sunday night.

Rochester Police Department Communications Coordinator Amanda Grayson says officers responded to the gunfire around 10:45 Sunday night.

Two Females Shot at Rooster's Barn and Grill Parking Lot in Northwest Rochester

The shooting call came from Rooster's Barn and Grill at 2280 Superior Dr. NW. 

Grayson says the preliminary investigation indicates a male shot and wounded two females in the parking lot of the establishment. 

The gunshot victims were transported to the emergency department by acquaintances. Police described their wounds as non-life-threatening. 

Suspect Vehicle Found 4 Hours After Rooster's Shooting

Around 2:45 a.m. Monday officers found a vehicle associated with the shooting suspect in northeast Rochester.

Grayson said the vehicle fled from an attempted traffic stop and a pursuit ensued. 

The police chase ended in the area of Fairway Dr. NW and 55th St. NW, where officers performed a successful Pursuit Intervention Technique (PIT) maneuver to get the vehicle to stop. 

Three people, including the shooting suspect, were in the vehicle. Grayson says all three occupants were taken into custody without further incident. 

The names of the gunshot victims and the shooting suspect have not been released. Police also did not identify the two other individuals taken into custody.

Grayson says the shooting is under investigation.
