Fatal Crash Shuts Down Busy Minnesota Interstate
Inver Grove Heights, MN (KROC-AM News)- A fatal crash closed a busy Minnesota interstate Monday morning.

First responders were dispatched to the deadly crash shortly before 4:30 a.m.
The interstate reopened around 7:30 a.m. The State Patrol says a car and semi were involved in the deadly crash along Interstate 494 in Dakota County.
The car was traveling east when it crashed into the rear end of an eastbound semi at a high rate of speed near the 5th St. interchange in Inver Grove Heights, according to the preliminary state crash report.
Hastings Woman Killed in Crash With Semi on I-494 Monday Morning
A 39-year-old woman from Hastings was driving the car. She died as a result of the collison, officials say.
The State Patrol plans to release her name and more information regarding her death by Tuesday evening.
39-year-old Corey James Haug of Holeman, WI was identified as the semi truck operator. He escaped the deadly crash without injuries, according to the State Patrol.
