Hampton, MN (KROC-AM News)- A fatal crash has resulted in the closure of a stretch of Hwy. 52 in southeast Minnesota.

Limited information is available. MnDOT reported the closure shortly after 12 p.m. Monday.
Minnesota State Patrol Public Information Officer Lt. Jill Frankfurth posted “The State Patrol is investigating a fatal crash, on SB 52/250th in Hampton,” on X.
The deadly crash occurred in a construction zone where the highway is reduced to a single lane in each direction. No other information has been released regarding the deadly crash.
The Hwy. 52 closure spans from north of Cannon Falls to the southern edge of Hampton.
A timeline for reopening the highway has not yet been released.
