
Man Killed, Two Teens Hurt in Head-On Crash Near St. Cloud
Foley, MN (KROC-AM News) - One person was killed last night in a head-on collision in the St. Cloud area.
The State Patrol says the fatal crash was reported just after 8 p.m. on Highway 23, just southwest of the town of Foley and about 12 miles northeast of St. Cloud. The head-on collision involved two pickup trucks traveling in opposite directions. Highway 23 is a divided four-lane roadway in that area, but the State Patrol report does not indicate which vehicle was traveling in the wrong direction.
State Patrol Identifies Victim as St. Cloud Man
The person killed in the crash has been identified as 64-year-old Edward Leroy Hindermann of St. Cloud.
There were two occupants in the other pickup truck. The State Patrol says a 17-year-old girl from Foreston was driving. Her name has not been released. She was transported to the St. Cloud Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Her passenger was identified as 18-year-old Rihanna Kanyetzny of Oak Park. The State Patrol says she was taken to the Northland Medical Center in Princeton, also with non-life-threatening injuries.

Alcohol Not a Factor in Highway 23 Collision
The State Patrol crash report indicates it is unknown if the man killed in the crash was wearing a seat belt, while the two teenagers in the other pickup were belted in at the time of the collision. It also states that alcohol was not a factor.
