Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A community-wide COVID-19 testing site will be operating in downtown Rochester this afternoon and tomorrow.

The Minnesota Department of Health, Olmsted County Public Health, the University of Minnesota, and others have teamed up to offer saliva testing for the viral infection to anyone wishing to be tested from noon until 6 PM today and noon until 6 PM on Saturday. The testing site is located on the second floor of the 318 Commons Building on First Avenue Southwest.

The testing is free, although anyone taking the test will be asked to provide health insurance information if they are insured. Appointments are not required, but they are encouraged and can be made by visiting the Vault Health website.
