The Rochester area experienced a mid-summerlike day yesterday as the mercury soared into the mid and upper 80’s.

Rochester’s official high of 86 just missed the record for the date by a few degrees and was the warmest it’s been since September 10th. It was one of the warmest readings in the entire state. It was also nearly 30 degrees warmer that the high temp just a week earlier.

The warmer weather is expected to continue this week, along with a chance for scattered storms through tomorrow and the coming weekend.
