That’s according to Rochester Police Department Communications Coordinator Amanda Grayson. Police pulled over the vehicle around 11 p.m.
The traffic stop occurred at the intersection of 8 ½ St. and 16th Ave. Southeast, the police report says.

While speaking with the driver, identified as 20-year-old Cesar Rivera Quevedo, officers spotted what the report describes as “live ammunition” on the car’s floor, police say.
Police then conducted a search of the vehicle the Dodge Center man was driving and discovered a gun that did not have a serial number, additional ammunition and an unspecified amount of suspected Xanax pills, Grayson said.
Jail records indicate Quevedo was booked into the Olmsted County Adult Detention Center around 12:15 Thursday morning.
Grayson says he could face charges of possession of a firearm without a serial number, possession of a firearm without a permit and controlled substance possession.
