Goodhue County Crash Injures Two

A two vehicle crash Tuesday in Goodhue County sent two people to the hospital.

According to the state patrol, 22-year-old Khalid Hashi of Rochester was northbound on Highway 52 near Highway 57 when he lost control.  His car then spun and crashed into a vehicle driven by 74-year-old Gerald Pike of Cottage Grove.  Pike and a passenger, 64-year-old Kathleen Pike were transported to the Cannon Falls Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  Alcohol was not a factor in the crash, which occurred just after 8:00 Tuesday evening.
