Byron Situation That Drew Large Law Enforcement Response Ends Peacefully
Byron, MN (KROC-AM News)- The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office is reporting a peaceful ending to a situation that involved a heavy law enforcement presence in Byron.

Limited information has been released so far, however a series of posts published to the sheriff’s office’s social media pages indicated the incident began around 5 p.m. Friday.
The posts asked members of the public to avoid the 200 block of 2nd Pl. Southwest in Byron, saying “deputies are engaged with an individual in a mental health crisis.”
Mental Health Crisis Situation in Byron, MN Ends Peacefully, Olmsted County Sheriff's Office Says
Less than two hours later, the sheriff’s office reported the situation had been resolved and that no injuries were reported.
Public safety officials remained at the scene following the resolution, according to the sheriff’s office.
Authorities said the incident was isolated and did not pose a greater threat to the public. No other information is available as of Saturday morning.
