Update: Authorities Recover Body of Missing Cannon Falls Man

Cannon Falls, MN (KROC-AM News) - An Endangered Missing Person Alert has now been issued for the Cannon Falls man who has been the subject of an extensive search effort since Monday evening.

The alert issued by the Cannon Falls Police Department identifies the man as 60-year-old Christopher Dobson of Cannon Falls. It also includes photos of the missing man and the clothing he was likely wearing at the time of his disappearance.

According to Cannon Falls police, left work on December 2 and his vehicle was found at his home. Foot tracks show he left the house on a wooded trail toward the Cannon River on the eastern edge of Cannon Falls with his dog as a normal routine.

The missing person's alert says foot tracks were found on the ice at the rivers edge. Dobson's dog was located at a neighbor's house and was wet.

Despite extensive searches using professional search teams in the area, Dobson remains missing.

He is described as white, 5' 9", 165 pounds, with grey hair and blue eyes. It's believed he was wearing a long dark jacket.
