Iowa toddler injured in fall airlifted to St. Marys Hospital

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa (AP) — A 3-year-old Iowa boy remained in critical condition a day after falling out of a second-story window at home.

The Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier reports Carter James McOmber fell Saturday morning after leaning against a window screen in an upstairs bedroom.

Cedar Falls police say Carter fell about 20 feet to the ground and suffered life-threatening injuries in the fall.

The Cedar Falls boy remained in critical condition Sunday at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, Minn.
