2 Minnesota Friends, Kira and Jax, Looking for New Home
Do you ever get to leave work and just go play with animals? Don't tell the bosses but a few days ago, our team at Townsquare Media in Rochester, Minnesota broke out of the studios and spent a little time showing some furry animals some attention. We saw puppies, big dogs, cats, and some pretty adorable kittens...quite a few that were just way too tired to even open their eyes to say "hello".
There are two amazing dogs though that we fell in love with that we wanted to tell you about...because they would be amazing pets and are ready for a new home now!
Two Best (Furry) Friends Are Looking For Their Forever Home in Minnesota
In Southeast Minnesota, one of the organizations that helps animals find new homes is Paws and Claws Humane Society. This week, we are featuring a new pet each day and we know that if you read the stories and share them on social media, these pets will find their forever homes!

Meet Kira and her best friend, Jax! These two were found running on their own, and taken in to our friends at Leashes and Leads. No owners came forward, so they are now here at Paws and Claws so that they can find their forever home!
Jax and Kira are young, happy, and active dogs who would love a home with a big fenced yard to romp around in! They love each other very much, and we are for a family who can adopt them together!
We know that's not something everyone can do, adopt 2 big dogs at once, and that's ok! All we need, is for the right family to come in and meet these too, with enough room in their hearts and home to add this pair in. Interested in meeting these besties? Apply online!
How much does it cost to adopt Kira and Jax at Paws and Claws in Southeast Minnesota?
According to Paws and Claws, the adoption fee is $300 for the pair. There is also a $30 microchip fee for each dog, as well as tax.
