At Least 2 Lives Lost in Crashes on Slick Minnesota Roads Monday
Undated (KROC-AM News)- At least two people lost their lives in crashes on slick Minnesota roads on Monday.

The fatal crashes happened as snow was falling across northern and central Minnesota during the morning commute.
One fatality was a single vehicle crash and the other was a two-vehicle collision.
Slick Travel Conditions Blamed for Fatal Head-on Crash Near Brainerd, MN Airport
Monday’s first fatal crash occurred shortly after 7:20 a.m. The State Patrol responded to the crash along Hwy. 210 northeast of Brainerd where two vehicles crashed.
A westbound pick-up truck slid into the eastbound lane and collided head-on with an eastbound SUV driven by 67-year-old Pamela Jean Beebe.
The Brainerd woman was taken to a hospital where she was pronounced dead.
47-year-old Donald James Want of Deerwood, MN was driving the pick-up. He was brought to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the state crash report.
At Least One Dead Following Northwest Minnesota Rollover Crash
The second deadly crash happened less than 40 minutes after the first. First responders were dispatched to a single-vehicle crash about 15 miles southwest of Thief River Falls on Pennington County Rd. 3.
An eastbound SUV left the road and rolled, the state crash report says. A 68-year-old woman from Grand Forks, ND was driving the SUV and a 62-year-old Grand Forks, ND man was riding with her.
The State Patrol has not yet said if one of both of the occupants lost their lives in the crash. Officials plan to release more information regarding the northwest Minnesota fatality Thursday afternoon.
