The Rochester Park and Recreation Department and Rochester Art Center are looking for local artists to help with two projects at Cascade Lake Regional Park. The two pieces will be considered separate projects and the plan is for them both to be installed this year. Artists can submit for one or both of the pieces.

Project #1: Roundabout Artwork

Artists are being asked to capture the park's vibe as a natural oasis amid the city and incorporate the park's history as a sand and gravel quarry.

$50,000 has been budgeted for this project - Learn more and apply here.

Project #2: Entrance Sign

The second project involves creating a welcome sign on the north side of 23rd Avenue, near the park entrance. Similar to the first project, artists are asked to draw inspiration from the park's history.

The sign will need to say "Cascade Lake Park" and feature logos for Rochester Park and Recreation, and Legacy Amendment. $20,000 has been budgeted for this project. Ready to make your mark? Apply online here.
