Rochester Exhibition Features John Lennon’s “Lost Weekend” Muse
The woman who had a front-row VIP seat for John Lennon's infamous "Lost Weekend" following the breakup of The Beatles is visiting Rochester this weekend to talk about her experiences with Lennon and share her portfolio of photographs that she took of the legendary singer-songwriter during their 18-month romantic relationship.

May Pang Visits Rochester This Weekend
May Pang appeared on the Rochester Today Show with Andy Brownell on News-Talk 1340 KROC-AM and 96.9 FM to discuss her remarkable story, which is chronicled in the feature documentary The Lost Weekend: A Love Story. The film is currently available on a number of streaming services, including Prime Video and Tubi.

Inside John Lennon's "Lost Weekend"
Pang was a young woman in her early 20s when she was hired as a personal assistant to John Lennon and Yoko Ono. She describes in the documentary how Ono asked her to date Lennon when the famous couple went through a separation in 1973. Despite her reluctance, Pang and Lennon eventually became romantically involved and lived together before Lennon and Ono reconciled in 1975.

Documentary Chronicles Pang's Story
The unusual circumstances that led to their relationship placed Pang alongside Lennon during what has been described as his "most artistically and commercially productive post-Beatles" period. She also played a key role in helping Lennon reconnect with his young son, Julian, and with former friends and collaborators, including Paul McCartney.

A news release about her upcoming visit to Rochester states that Pang can be heard whispering John's name on the song "#9 Dream." She was with Lennon as he spent time and collaborated with rock 'n' roll royalty, including Elton John, David Bowie, Harry Nilsson, Mick Jagger, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr. She was also present during a jam session with Paul McCartney.

Rare Photos From an Extraordinary Relationship
It's an extraordinary story, and her photo exhibit includes an image of John Lennon signing the agreement that officially dissolved The Beatles, as well as one of the last known photographs of Lennon and McCartney together.

Studio 324 Hosting Three-Day Event
The photographic exhibition, where prints of Pang's photos will be available for purchase, will take place at Studio 324 on the first floor of the Fagan Studios Building at 324 South Broadway in downtown Rochester. May Pang will be at the event from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday.
