Wabasha, MN (KROC-AM News) - It is unclear when a Wabasha County judge will issue a ruling concerning a push by the State of Minnesota to force a Plainview business to close its doors.

The judge heard arguments today over a request made by the Minnesota Attorney General's Office for a temporary restraining order that would require the Plainview Wellness Center to shut down in accordance with the most recent COVID-19 pandemic order issued by Governor Tim Walz last month. The judge took the matter under advisement.

Attorney General Keith Ellison has indicated this is the first enforcement action taken by his office under the latest pandemic order. Supporters of the owner and operator of the Plainview Wellness Center have launched a fundraising campaign to help Brandon Reiter cover his legal expenses.
