Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Crews are busy working at the site of a large sinkhole that developed early Tuesday morning on a busy southeast Rochester street.

A passing motorist reported the hole around 4:30 a.m. on 20th St SE, just east of the 3rd Ave. intersection near the Seneca Foods warehouse site. A police spokesman says the hole is about as large as a car and was caused by a watermain break.

Traffic is expected to be restricted to one lane while the main is repaired and the hole is filled in.
