Man and Woman Killed in Southern Minnesota Motorcycle Crash
Kasota, MN (KROC-AM News)- A man and woman were killed in a southern Minnesota motorcycle crash Monday night.
A news release issued Tuesday morning by the Le Sueur County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called to a crash involving a minivan and motorcycle shortly before 10:30 p.m. It happened at an intersection in the City of Kasota, which sits across the Minnesota River from St. Peter.
First responders began treating the man and woman who were on the motorcycle but they were pronounced dead at the scene. The crash investigation indicates they were not wearing helmets.
The identities of the man and woman on the motorcycle are being withheld until their next of kin have been notified of their deaths. The driver of the van, identified as 74-year-old Linda Vogel, suffered what are being described as non-life-threatening injuries.
The Le Sueur County Sheriff’s Office says the deadly crash is under investigation.
