
7 Injured in Crash Involving State Patrol Squad Car Near Rochester’s Apache Mall

Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- A Minnesota State Patrol Squad vehicle was one of three vehicles involved in a crash that injured seven people in Rochester on Saturday.

It occurred at an intersection that has subsequently been closed. Preliminary information released by the Rochester Police Department says officers responded to the crash around 5:45 p.m.
All seven of the crash victims were taken to a hospital for further care, according to Rochester Police Department Communications Coordinator Amanda Grayson.

The crash occurred at the intersection of Hwy. 14/12th St. Southwest and Memorial Parkway Southwest near the Apache Mall.
The medical conditions of the seven injured vehicle occupants were not available as of Saturday night. Their names have not been released.
Authorities have not yet disclosed the events that led up to the crash. The Rochester Police Department is assisting with the investigation.
Grayson says the intersection is expected to remain closed for several hours.
