Man Critically Injured in St. Paul House Fire
St. Paul, MN (KROC-AM News) - The St. Paul Fire Department is reporting that a man was rushed to hospital in critical condition early today after firefighters responded to a house fire.
A news release indicates the fire was reported just before 3 AM in a tucked under garage at a residence in St. Paul's Battle Creek neighborhood. The statement says the flames were quickly extinguished and during a search of the home an unconscious adult male was discovered.
Officials reported that the discovery occurred after the other occupants of the residence got out safely and told emergency responders that everyone had left the home.
The name of the victim and updated information about his medical condition are not available.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
