He was pronounced dead at a Minneapolis Hospital less than an hour after he was found.

Minneapolis, MN (KROC-AM News)- The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the man who was found unresponsive near Target Field.

He was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead. On June 16, the medical examiner issued the first of two requests for public assistance with identifying the man.

Unresponsive Man Found Near Target Field and Later Pronounced Dead Identified by Medical Examiner

In a news release issued Sunday afternoon, the medical examiner identified the man as 24-year-old Seloman Robiel Kebede. His hometown is not listed in the news release.

Kebede was first found on 7th St. near Target Field around 9:45 p.m. on June 13. He was pronounced dead at a Minneapolis Hospital less than an hour after he was found. 

The cause and manner of his death are under investigation, the news release says.
