MANKATO, Minn. (AP) — A Blue Earth teenager has entered a plea deal in the suspected synthetic drug overdose death of his girlfriend.

The 17-year-old boy pleaded guilty Monday to reduced charges of second-degree manslaughter and third-degree drug possession.

The teen was accused of his giving 17-year-old Chloe Moses of Mankato a capsule containing a white powder. Moses died on March 10 from a bad reaction to the drug.

KTOE-AM reports the manslaughter charge will be dropped in six months if the boy meets all terms of probation.
