Mayo Clinic Guarantees Staff Will be Paid During Pandemic
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Minnesota's largest private employer is reassuring its employees that they will continue to be paid during the coronavirus pandemic.
The Mayo Clinic today announced a staffing and pay protection program for its allied health staff. A news release says the program guarantees the staff members will continue to be paid their current rate of pay for normally scheduled hours through April 28th.
Due to the fluid situation involving the response to COVID 19, Mayo says some staff members will be redeployed to assist with critically needed work in other areas. Other staff may be asked to stay home, depending on the organization's needs, with the understanding they need to be ready to be called back on short notice.
