Minnesota Man Accused of Repeated Sexual Abuse of Young Girl
Duluth, MN (KROC-AM News)- A Minnesota man previously convicted first-degree criminal sexual conduct involving a young girl is facing new charges in northern Minnesota.

The charges allege the sexual abuse began in 2015 and ended in 2019 when he was arrested for the case he was eventually convicted in. The criminal complaint, filed in St. Louis County Court Tuesday, indicated the second victim was five years old when the abuse began.
The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office says deputies and investigators arrested 43-year-old Michael Brian Bailey of Two Harbors on August 11. The arrest was made about two months after the second victim came forward.
In an interview with investigators, the victim detailed three alleged sexual assaults that occurred over the course of five years. Last month, investigators went to the home where the alleged assaults occurred and found writing on the wall that detailed Bailey’s sexual abuse of the victim.
Bailey was arraigned on four counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct on Tuesday. His bail was set at $300,000.
