Missing Person Alert For Minnesota Woman With Advanced Dementia
(UPDATE) - The alert has been canceled. St. Anthony Police say Theresa Johnson has been located and is safe.
St. Anthony, MN (KROC-AM News) - A statewide missing person alert has been issued for an endangered missing Minnesota woman.
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension issued the alert Friday afternoon at the request of the Saint Anthony Police Department. Authorities in the Twin Cities suburb say Theresa Johnson is 67 years old and was last seen around 10:15 AM when she left her residence on foot.
The notification says the missing woman has advanced Alzheimer's disease and is non-verbal. She does not have a cell phone with her and it's unknown if she is carrying any identification.
She is described as white, 5-3, 127 pounds, with grey hair and green eyes. She was last seen wearing a dark blue fleece top, blue jeans, and possibly sunglasses.
Anyone who may have seen her or with knowledge of her whereabouts is asked to contact the Saint Anthony Police Department by calling Hennepin County Dispatch at 952-258-5231.
